As it is already known, Digimon evolutions (digivolutions) are not as simple and straight-forward as in many other monster-taming franches (e.g. Pokémon).
Digivolution is quite a complex phenomenon, which has many different types, and pretty much every single Digimon can evolve in many different directions, and also multiple different Digimon can become one.
Just observing the canonical digivolutions (such as the ones appearing in the Anime, videogames, and card games), we already have a huge number of combinations, considering that there are thousands of Digimon in existence.
One of the favourite things for the fans of the Digimon franchise is coming up with their own digivolution lines, which is something myself, as well, used to do as a kid.
Here, I will present my own digivolution lines for the Digimon of the 1st Season (Digimon Adventure).
Now, why would I even make my own digivolution lines?
There are 4 main reasons why I'm doing this:
The first, and also the main reason is that there are a lot of Digimon which I wouldn't consider appropriate.
Things like sexualised female (or male, for that matter) anthopomorphic Digimon, Digimon inspired by the occult, Digimon which were based on religious figures, or simply use religious symbols/imagery, regardless of religion, etc.
As a religious person, I am uncomfortable with those things.
One of the things I'm trying to do here is be absolutely G-rated and family-friendly, thus I would only include Digimon I deem appropriate (which, admittedly, is the majority of Digimon - only a smaller number of them are problematic).
The reason number 2 is that I am planning to use these evolutions in my v-pet game, so this page is a good place to display them.
The third reason is that I am also trying to index all Digimon and assign them numbers. Making this page will help me classify them and it will contribute to my indexing.
You may notice that in this article, I will be using the term "generation 1" or "1st generation" for these Digimon. I am aware that this is a term which isn't commonly associated with Digimon. To clarify, what I mean by it is the Digimon which were introduced between 1997 and 2000 (before Digimon: Zero Two - the 2nd season - came out).
Digimon which appeared in the v-pet games, card games, manga etc. in that period; or which appeared the 1st anime Season (along with some later Digimon, which are a crucial part of their evolutionary line), will be included in there.
And finally, the last, 4th reason is fun!
All that being said, without further ado, I will present my custom G-rated Digimon Adventure digivolutions:
As you can tell, most of them are unchanged, but I have made some alterations in certain lines.

A characteristic of the 1st generation Digimon (which isn't as drastic anymore in the subsequent seasons) is that the Digimon of the 1st two evolutionary levels are quite different visually from the 3rd. This is because they were initially designed to evolve in many different directions, and not only one. Before the 1st anime season came out, there weren't single established digivolution lines, but instead each diverged in many directions.
Also, using the "X-Antibody" variant design for HerakleKabuterimon was a deliberate choice.
As for the Digimons' names, as you can probably tell, I'm primarily using the original Japanese naming, and not the English-dub renames (e.g. Tailmon and not Gatomon; Plotmon and not Salamon etc.); however, some of the names have been changed by me, and you can see the reasoning and explanation if you click on the question mark beside the changed names.
I am planning to make a separate blog post, explaining my Digimon name choices in more detail.
As for the evolution choices, both Plesiomon and Vikemon are good Mega evolutions for the Gomamon line. The only reason I chose Plesiomon is because I've decided to use Vikemon in my custom Season 4 line (as an evolution of Korikkakumon), and wanted to avoid repetitions (if possible).
As for the Palmon's Perfect and Mega digivolutions, I was stuck between the Blossomon > Petaldramon; and Toropiamon > Hydramon. At first, I wanted to use Hydramon as the Mega, since I was thinking I would use Petaldramon in one of the Season 4 lines, however, I've decided not to. The main reason I chose Blossomon as the Perfect level digivolution is that it's, unlike Toropiamon, also a classic, widely known Digimon (1st generation); while these other options are much more contemporary ones.
It's a little known fact that Unimon (Umamon) was the original "official" Adult-level evolution of Patamon before the Anime.
Beside these 8 main ones, there is also a 9th digivolution line in the 1st generation, the "virus" line:

Zurumon

Pagumon

Gazimon

Deltamon

Myotismon

MaloMyotismon
There were also Mokumon > PetiMeramon and Choromon > Caprimon lines, making the total of 11 in the 1st generation; however, I've used these two in Season 4, and they were among the main ones, so I've decided not to include them here as well.
Those who are familiar with the 1st generation of Digimon, know that, besides these Digimon, the Agumon > Greymon and the Gabumon > Garurumon lines have additional forms. It seems that the creators of the show favoured these 2 characters.
These include the alternative, AKA Alterous modes/variants/forms of MetalGreymon and WereGarurumon, and also their Mega evolutions BlitzGreymon and CresGarurumon, which appear in the 2020 Digimon Adventure reboot.
They also have the "bond" (kizuna) forms: Agumon - Bond of Bravery (AKA FinalAgumon); and Gabumon - Bond of Friendship (AKA FinalGabumon), which appear in the final movie, Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna.

In order to include complete and consistent lines for all of the generation 1 Digimon, I have decided to make the same for all 8 lines.
I also had to use some of the Digimon which actually belong to later generations, just to fill in the gaps. These Digimon will be presented in these "more complete" lines, but they won't be counted in this generation, and I will avoid using them in gen 1 lines as much as possible.
The Digimon from future generations will be marked with yellow colour.
I'm planning to create a separate post soon, explaining the "bond" (kizuna), AKA the "final" forms.

Even though these lines seem complete, all of these individual lines can actually canonically diverge quite a bit more.
Each one of these Digimon of the "child" level (level 3), can diverge into at least 3 different "adult" level (level 4) Digimon:

I wanted to make full lines until the final (6th) level, however, the problem I ran into was that there is actually quite a bit more Digimon of "middle" levels (namely 3rd and 4th), and they couldn't fit in such a layout, so I had to think further.
For example, a bunch of these quadrupedal, similar-looking, child-level Digimon from the 1st generation are quite known and recognisable:

Betamon

Elecmon

Gizamon
They appear in the Anime as well, but originally, they appeared in the v-pet games, as alternate, secondary canonical evolutions.
Also, these disgusting, ugly, slimy, crappy Digimon are recognisable from generation 1 as well:

Numemon

Scumon

KaratsukiNumemon
These are so called "failed" digivolutions. If a Digimon trainer fails to fulfil other conditions, their MON becomes one of these "crap-mon". They are also able to digivolve further.
Their digivolutions are actually not so bad, as they can evolve into some pretty strong Digimon, which shows that sometimes a Digimon trainer has to fail in order to achieve something powerful.
And finally, there are also these higher level and quite powerful but tiny, baby-sized Digimon:

Mamemon

Giromon

Tekkamon
These Digimon are "condensed". They are very powerful, but very small. Their size is deceiving. Every 1st generation digivolution line had at least one of these.
If including the secondary evolutions as well, the (attempt at) complete generation 1 lines would be as follows:
(Large part of these digivolutions are canonical, with some alterations made by me)
Legend:
Regular digivolutions are in blue.
Green are the failed digivolutions ("crapmon").
Red are the "mini" perfect forms (the "condensed" digimon).
And yellow are the Digimon from later generations, which I used just to fill in all the gaps (these won't count in the numbering system).

You may notice that when the "crapmon" digivolve, their evolved form looks quite different from the base one. At first glance, it seems like their evolved forms have nothing to do with the base form, however, that's not the case, they all have a logic behind them.
For example, if you look at most of the evolved crapmon, they look like plush-toy suits with a creature inside:

Monzaemon

Etemon

ExTyranomon
The actual official, canonical story behind it is that they are the creatures which crawled inside the plush suits.
Other crapmon include other logical transformations (such as tadpoles becoming frogs, etc.).
Those familiar with the 1st generation are aware that even all these aren't all Digimon appearing in this generation.
Digivolutions can be quite inconsistent (especially early ones), as some evolution lines have a large number of possible evolutionary directions, while other lines, only a few. Also some lines may have gaps in them.
Considering the fact that there is only this limited number of lines, which I've already included (if starting from the "fresh" forms); in order to fill all of the remaining Digimon, and complete all their lines, I've decided to add one more branch to each of these lines, which perfectly filled the number of "child" Digimon present.
I have, however, still tried to stick to canonical digivolutions as much as I could, which I will be indicating and giving sources in the description of each line:

Botamon

Koromon

Candmon

Meramon

FlareLizamon

SkullMeramon

Volcdramon

Boltmon

Bryweludramon
Even though it's much more fitting, and established for Candmon to evolve from DemiMeramon; out of all the generation 1 digivolution lines, only this (Agumon's) one is associated with the "fire"-type, so it fits into this one the most out of all the options. Plus, FlareLizamon is a dinosaur, so it works well.
This digivolution can actually be considered canonical, as Candmon can evolve from Koromon in the Digivice Burst v-pet toy, and also in the video games Digimon World Re:Digitize and Digimon Super Rumble.

Punimon

Tunomon

Hagurumon

Clockmon

Tankmon

Knightmon

Tankdramon

Alphamon

Darkdramon
Even though Hagurumon usually evolves from Caprimon, which is more fitting, this digivolution is canonical as well, as it appears in the Digimon ReArise video game.

Bubbmon

Mochimon

Kokuwamon

Guardromon

Mechanorimon

Andromon

Valvemon

HiAndromon

Quartzmon
This one is also more fitting for Caprimon, however, it's a type of beetle, so out of all the options, it fits this line the most.

Yuramon

Pyocomon

ToyAgumon

Omekamon

Golemon

Blikmon

Tinpetmon
Rokushomon
Metabeemon
Yet another digivolution which is more fitting to come from Caprimon, or even Koromon in some media, even though that one's less logical considering what its made of.
In this line, I've actually used Digimon which came from the Digimon-Metabot/Medarot crossover.
Even though the crossover happened much later on (in 2021 - the time of generation 9), no other Digimon would fit into this "toy" line.

Pitchmon

Pukamon

Ganimon

Ebidramon

Octomon

Gusokumon

Anomalocarimon

Regalecusmon
Armagnemon?
This is pretty much a canonical digivolution. Pukamon to Ganimon appears in a bunch of video games including Digimon Adventure 02: Tag Tamers, Digimon Adventure 02: D1 Tamers, Digimon Super Rumble, and Digimon Story: Time Stranger.

Poyomon

Tokomon

Bakumon

Baluchimon

Minotaurmon

Manticoremon

Vajrimon?
Gargoylemon

Gaiomon
Fits well because of the "mythological creature" theme, this line had unicorns, centaurs, hippogriffs, gryphons, and now minotaurs and a manticore too. Also it's canonical, as it appears in the games Digimon Championship and Digimon Super Rumble.

YukimiBotamon

Nyaromon

Gottsumon

Icemon

Rockmon

Insekimon

Volcamon

Blastmon

PileVolcamon
It vaguely resembles a cat, even though it's of stone. Gottsumon is mainly associated with Tokomon, and digivolves from it in most media, even though there are a bunch other fitting alternatives as well which appear. Regardless, this one is canonical as well. It appears in the Digimon Twin L and Digimon Twin R v-pets, along with the Digimon Super Rumble video game.

Zurumon

Pagumon

Goblimon

Ogremon

Bakemon

Mummymon
Pumpkinmon

Piemon

NoblePumpkinmon
This is a canonical evolution. In most media, Goblimon digivolves either from Pagumon or Tunemon. As it appears in most media, I don't feel the need to name each one. As for Bakemon, it may seem out of place, but it's a "virus" type, thus this is the only fitting evolution line for it. Also, it's canonical, as it appears in the Digivice iC 20X v-pet, and also Digimon Story video game.

Nyokimon

Tanemon

Mushmon

Woodmon

Parasaurmon
Jyureimon
Toropiamon

Pinochimon
BloomKnightmon?
This is also canonical, as Mushmon does indeed evolve from either Pyocomon or Tanemon in most media. However, as you may notice, the Digimon in this line are repeated, and it also uses some Digimon from much later generations. There is a reason why I left this line for the last.
Digimon is unfortunately quite lacking on the plant-type species. That is the reason why I had to resort to using some main and pretty crucial Digimon from other generations, just to fill all the gaps and complete the line, even though they will not be counted in this generation.
Below is the full line with all of its branches (with "crapmon" and "condensed" Digimon omitted, in order to be able to include all "regular" lines within one tree neatly).
I decided to only do this for the Tanemon line, and not the rest of them, to avoid repetition and making the article even longer than it already is, but I needed to include this one, since it's been modified:

Nyokimon

Tanemon

Palmon

Floramon

Mushmon

Togemon

Sunflowmon

Vegimon

Kiwimon

Woodmon

Parasaurmon
Blossomon
Oleamon

Ghilliedhumon

Jyagamon

Jyureimon

Toropiamon
Hydramon
Petaldramon

Jijimon

Babamon

Pinochimon
BloomKnightmon
It is more widely accepted for Blossomon to evolve from Vegimon, however I've already used it as the Togemon evolution. Sunflowmon and Toropiamon lines are among the main Digimon from generation 5, and will be counted in there instead; while the Oleamon and Ghilliedhumon are from generation 9.
This tree includes almost every single plant/vegetation-type Digimon which exists.
Believe it or not, even after all these, we're not done with all of the generation 1 Digimon! We haven't discussed variants yet.
You may have noticed that there are "snow"/"ice" versions of certain aforementined Digimon:

Botamon

Agumon

Gottsumon

Besides these, there are a few more that we haven't mentioned yet:

Also, sometimes the ice/snow form is the default one, and the variation is of a different type:

There is also a special kind of evolution, known as "Jogress" ("join" + "progress"), also known as the "DNA evolution", where 2 Digimon merge into a new one. Admittedly, this was mainly in generation 2, as it was one of its main gimmicks, but, generation 1 had a few of its own "Jogresses" as well.
Here is an example of a standard Jogress, even though it's a Digimon from later generations:
