The final movie from Season 1, named Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna featured special forms of Agumon and Gabumon. They are their final evolutions, which are only possible to be achieved by a very deep bond with their human partners. They are: Agumon - Bond of Bravery and Gabumon - Bond of Friendship respectively.
As it seems that the creators of the show have a bias towards these two characters, they are the only ones among the "original 8" from Digimon Adventure, which got these special forms.
This bias has been shown in many other instances as well, such as by only them 2 reaching Mega (level 6) forms in the Original Series from 1999; and it can even be observed in the 2020 Reboot, which gave special perfect-level (level 5) "Alterous" forms only to them two as well (among other instances).
This post will be exploring how it would look like if all 8 of the original, "generation 1" protagonist Digimon had these "kizuna/bond" forms.
We will be exploring 2 main things:
- their naming
- their appearance
As for the naming of these Digimon, the original names of the 2 in existence are a mouthful in my opinion. I've discovered that the original name of the Agumon's Kizuna form, during early production was "Brave Agumon[source]", which I actually prefer over the final chosen name.
Besides that, I've also discovered a few more naming conventions I preferred, so, besides giving names to the remaining 6 new Digimon, we will even be focusing on simplifying the names of the existent 2.
And as for the appearance, we will look through different interpretations of their potential appearance through art made by various talented fans, for whom I will provide their original links and usernames.
Digimon 1: Agumon - Bond of Bravery
(BraveAgumon)
His original name was: "Agumon - Bond of Bravery", and, in the original Japanese: "Agumon - Yuuki no Kizuna" (アグモン -勇気の絆).
Considering that these names are supposed to be based on their respective crests, and his crest was known as the "Crest of Courage" in the original series, rather then of Bravery, alternatively his name could also be: "Agumon - Bond of Courage" (still the same in Japanese, the difference is only in English, as the two are synonymous).
If we tried to shorten his name, CourageousAgumon definitely sounds worse than BraveAgumon.
Alternatively, he could also be called by the crest itself, so CourageAgumon or BraveryAgumon, where the first of the two sounds better.
We could use Japanese as well, which, in my opinion, fits really well for most others, but not for Agumon, because "YuukiAgumon" sounds too close to "YukiAgumon" (SnowAgumon), an already existent Digimon, and could easily be confused.
While doing the research for this post, browsing various Digimon blogs, I've stumbled upon the blog of Meridian Hawkins, which made his own designs of all 8 Digimon's Kizuna forms, who also didn't seem to like their original naming convention, so he came up with calling it the "FinalGreymon". As indeed, it resembles a Greymon much more than it resembles an Agumon, and "final" fits really well, as it indeed represents its last form (I nearly called it the "ultimate" form, but "ultimate" is used for the 5th level in the English-language Digimon media, which, admittedly, doesn't entirely fit, since it's not the final level, but I am planning to make a separate post on Digimon level naming soon).
I also think that, besides it, FinalAgumon sounds pretty good as well, and I think I might use this naming convention the most throughout the blog, as it is the simplest and also conveys the meaning better than any other one.

As this is already an existent Digimon, let's remind ourselves how it looks like:

Because these first 2 Digimon already exist in the canon, I won't bother with redesigning them, even though some, such as the aforementioned Meridian Hawkins have done that, so, you can check their blog for their designs, which are pretty cool as well.
Digimon usually have 2 primary "standard / stock" images: one of them is their "Toei" image, which is their Anime artwork, and the second one is the "Bandai" image, which is the "standard" artwork which is used in most other media.
The Bandai image is more stylised, more heavily shaded and textured, while the Toei one is Anime artstyle-accurate.
For each of the new Digimon, I will try to pick one art for each of the two styles respectively.
As for Agumon's final form, the official two artworks are:

Toei artwork

Bandai artwork
Digimon 2: Gabumon - Bond of Friendship
(LoyalGabumon)
Original name: Gabumon - Bond of Friendship
Japanese version: Gabumon - Yujo no Kizuna (ガブモン -友情の絆)
Shortened versions (based on crest):
FriendshipGabumon (English-based), YujoGabumon (Japanese-based)
Other shorter versions:
FriendGabumon doesn't sound too bad, but if we try to turn it into an adjective like we did with Agumon, FriendlyGabumon, in my opinion, doesn't sound good at all; however, the adjective "loyal" which indeed is associated with friendship, in my opinion, works perfectly.
Thus, my favourite picks for its name are LoyalGabumon and FinalGabumon (I prefer to refer to it as Gabumon, rather than its evolved form, Garurumon, as Meridian Hawkins does).
Original evolution line:

Gabumon

Garurumon

WereGarurumon

MetalGarurumon

Digimon 3: Tentomon - Bond of Knowledge
(WiseTentomon)
Name based on the original: Tentomon - Bond of Knowledge
Japanese version:
Tentomon - Chishiki no Kizuna (テントモン -知識の絆)
Shortened versions (based on crest):
KnowledgeTentomon, ChishikiTentomon
Other short versions:
I don't think KnowledgeableTentomon sounds good at all, but I love WiseTentomon and FinalTentomon.
Original evolution line:

The first fanart of FinalTentomon I stumbled upon was the one made by @100zettabyte:
original image link
I actually really love this artwork, and it fits the Bandai style perfectly!
The 2nd artist's representation I found when I discovered that @KarnEX on YouTube has already made a video on this exact topic.
He comissioned an artist named @weirdomon for it, and this was his result:
original image link
Yet another one in the Bandai artstyle. I like it a lot, but I, only slightly, prefer the previous one (it's a close one).
The third fan art I found is the one by the already mentioned Meridian Hawkins:
original image link
He's a very talented artist, and I like it very much, however, it's a bit too detailed in my opinion, and so it doesn't fit in either of the two target styles. Since the Bandai style is more detailed than the Toei one, it would fit in it more than the other one, but still not as much as the first two artworks we seen so far fit.
The next one I found was by the artist @sutunununu which might be my favourite of them all:
original image link
Even though neither Tentomon nor its evolved form, Kabuterimon, are yellow, I just feel like this colour fits it so beautifully.
Even though this one's my favourite of them all, the excessive background, effects, and other elements around him are not in any way resemblant to the official Bandai artworks, so I'd still have to stick to the 1st image we found.
Moving on, we have an artist whom we will only be mentioning once here, as he hasn't done any others except for his FinalTentomon representation, and that is @Yokaiju1:
original image link
Out of all of them so far, I feel like this one is the most accurate to the official FinalAgumon and FinalGabumon designs.
It aligns with them so well and, even though it has shading which is more prominent than the one in Toei anime artworks, his pose perfectly matches the one from FinalAgumon's and FinalGabumon's original artworks, so I feel like I'd pick this one rather as a Toei-style artwork contender.
Believe it or not, there is plenty more fan art of FinalTentomon, and the next one is by the artist @Tengumon_:
original image link
It's also quite good, and one thing I've noticed is that the artists seem to prefer doing the Bandai artstyle.
I found another artist's representation which is also quite heavily detailed, and thus doesn't fit either of the 2 target styles (despite being incredibly cool), and that is the art by @chunkylowdraws:
original image link
And finally, I found only one more, and I've decided to include it, despite it being just a sketch.
That is the drawing by @HarumiTei:
original image link
The only reason I included it is because I love the way it looks, and it has a lot of potential.
I just wish they coloured it and outlined/inked it.
Here are my final picks for its Toei and Bandai style representations, and you can write to me in the Digi-Chat about which ones you'd rather pick as your own favourites.

Bandai-style artwork
Digimon 4: Gomamon - Bond of Sincerity
(HonestGomamon)
Name based on the original: Gomamon - Bond of Sincerity
Even though his crest was referred to as the Crest of Sincerity in the original media, it was also alternatively known as the crest of Reliability (the main name used in the English-language localisation), Honesty or Faith.
Thus: Gomamon - Bond of Reliability, Gomamon - Bond of Honesty and Gomamon - Bond of Faith are all valid options.
It had only one Japanese name for it, though: Seijitsu (誠実) - which could be translated to English as any of the four options.
Japanese version:
Gomamon - Seijitsu no Kizuna (ゴマモン -誠実の絆)
Shortened versions (based on crest):
SincerityGomamon, ReliabilityGomamon, HonestyGomamon, FaithGomamon, SeijitsuGomamon
I think trust works pretty well here also, and "TrustGomamon" is my 2nd favourite option.
Short versions (adjective forms):
SincereGomamon, ReliableGomamon and FaithfulGomamon don't sound too good in my opinion. My favourite options are HonestGomamon and FinalGomamon.
Original evolution line:

Gomamon

Ikkakumon

Zudomon

Plesiomon
As with the previous Digimon, the first fan representation I found was by @100zettabyte:
original image link
In my opinion, it's a perfect replica of the Bandai style.
I already really want to pick this image, even though it's the first one I found.
The 2nd one is the one from the @KarnEX's video by the artist @weirdomon:
original image link
Ok now this is really tough. This one is so good.
I might just have to make some sort of a compromise, as I don't think I can easily make a choice between these two amazing artworks.
The third one is the amazing Meridian Hawkins:
original image link
It's gorgeous, but, as his previous ones, too detailed for what I'm looking for.
The next one is @Tengumon_:
original image link
Looks good, but I still prefer the first two.
And the final one I found is by @chunkylowdraws:
original image link
It's waaaay too detailed, even though it's one of the most epic ones out of all.
My favourite ones still remain the first two.
Since both of them are in the Bandai style, I had to compromise, and decided to use @100zettabyte's one as the Toei-style pick, as its pose perfectly matches the rest of the Toei-style images:

Bandai-style artwork
Digimon 5: Piyomon - Bond of Love
(KindPiyomon)
Name based on the original: Piyomon - Bond of Love
Also known as Biyomon - Bond of Love in the English-language dub.
Japanese version:
Piyomon - Aijou no Kizuna (ピヨモン -愛情の絆)
Shortened versions (based on crest):
LovePiyomon, LoveBiyomon, AijouPiyomon
Other short versions:
LovingPiyomon doesn't sound too good to me, but just using LovePiyomon is better.
LovePiyomon and also KindPiyomon are my favourite name picks.
I'd prefer to use adjectives, as that's how I did for all of the other ones so far, however, there is technically a Crest of Kindness, which makes its appearance in the 2nd Season, so it could be confused with it.
Either ways, I'll pick that one for now. FinalPiyomon can also be used.
Original evolution line:

Piyomon

Birdramon

Garyudamon

Hououmon
The first one we have here is the one used in the @KarnEX's video by the artist @mefastoon:
original image link
For the first time we have a clear Toei style attempt, and a really good job at it.
I think I've already made my mind for what I'd pick for that style, as it even uses exactly the correct pose.
The next one is Meridian Hawkins:
original image link
I just really love this design. Even though his other artworks were too detailed, I think this one might actually work for the Bandai style pick.
We also have a return of @sutunununu for this one:
original image link
And the last one I found was by an artist which will also be mentioned only once here, as they've done only this one (at least by the time of preparing this post), and that is @Cheramoe_Boid:
original image link
Even though they imagined it as a partner Digimon of Chika Daimon (AKA Kristy Damon in the DUB) - from Season 5, rather than a partner of Sora Takenouchi.
Here are my final picks:

Toei-style artwork

Bandai-style artwork
Digimon 6: Palmon - Bond of Purity
(PurePalmon)
Name based on the original: Palmon - Bond of Purity
His crest is also known as the crest of Sincerity in the DUB, so he could also be referred to as Palmon - Bond of Sincerity, however that could be confused with Gomamon's crest.
Japanese version:
Palmon - Junshin no Kizuna (パルモン -純真の絆)
Shortened versions (based on crest):
PurityPalmon, SincerityPalmon, JunshinPalmon
Other short versions:
PurePalmon and FinalPalmon sound perfect, while SincerePalmon not so much, in my opinion.
My custom full evolution line:

Palmon

Togemon

Blossomon

Petaldramon
You can read more about these custom lines of mine in the previous article.
The first fan art we will be looking at is the one by Meridian Hawkins:
original image link
Quite detailed, as usual, but very well drawn. Could be used for the Bandai style pick, despite the heavy details.
The second one is by a yet another artist which only did this 1 artwork, however, it is my favourite one.
It's the art made by @Tom:

My final picks:

Toei-style artwork

Bandai-style artwork
Digimon 7: Tailmon - Bond of Light
(GlowTailmon)
Name based on the original: Tailmon - Bond of Light
Also known as Gatomon in the DUB, so: Gatomon - Bond of Light
Japanese version:
Tailmon - Hikari no Kizuna (テイルモン -光の絆)
Shortened versions (based on crest):
LightTailmon, LightGatomon, and HikariTailmon - I actually like all 3.
Other short versions:
ShineTailmon, ShineGatomon, GlowTailmon, GlowGatomon, FinalTailmon, and FinalGatomon all sound great too.
Considering that the original Child-level Digimon (level 3) was actually Plotmon (also known as Salamon in the DUB), all of these could also be used with it as well:
LightPlotmon, LightSalamon, HikariPlotmon, HikariSalamon, ShinePlotmon, ShineSalamon, GlowPlotmon, GlowSalamon, FinalPlotmon, FinalSalamon.
My custom full evolution line:

Plotmon

Tailmon

Mihoramon

Dinotigermon
I looked for quite a while, and couldn't find any usable artist representations of this Digimon.
I ended up deciding to edit a fan art of a different Digimon, to match it with the FinalTailmon's potential looks.
Some of the edits were minimal, as the art I found already resembled the target looks quite a bit, while others were more drastic.
The first one is my (minimal) edit of @nerrax's Rakshamon, which he imagined as a "biomerge" evolution of Tailmon and Hikari Yagami:
original image link
The original artwork was made in 2017, and he made a newer version in 2020, which I used as a basis for this 2nd image:
original image link
I suppose the 1st one is more of a Bandai style, while the 2nd one is more Toei-like. Even the pose.
I also managed to find another one which required minimal edits to become presentable on this blog. Made by ReyCovert:
original image link
His original name was FelisTailmon and he was intended as a Perfect-level (level 5) evolution of Tailmon.
Final picks:

Toei-style artwork

Bandai-style artwork
Digimon 8: Patamon - Bond of Hope
(WishPatamon)
Name based on the original: Patamon - Bond of Hope
Japanese version: Patamon - Kibou no Kizuna (パタモン -希望の絆)
Shortened versions (based on crest):
HopePatamon, KibouPatamon
Other short versions:
HopefulPatamon doesn't sound too good, but WishPatamon and FinalPatamon do.
My custom full evolution line:

Patamon

Unimon/Umamon

Hippogriffomon

Griffomon
Yet another one where I couldn't find anything usable at first.
Eventually I settled on a slightly edited version of @100zettabyte's art:
original image link
As for the Toei-style art, I literally had nothing, so I ended up making my own art.
Please keep in mind that I'm a total amateur, and that it's not gonna look even 1% as good as the other ones:

I made it by combining FinalAgumon's Toei artwork with Pegasmon's elements, and FinalGabumon's hands:

FinalAgumon

Pegasmon

FinalGabumon
Thus, finally, here are the final picks:

As a final comparison, I'll be putting side-by-side their original forms from level 3 to 6, and then their Toei-style artworks, and finally, the Bandai-style ones:
