Film 3: «Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna»

Film 1: «Digimon Adventure»

This movie is set 4 years before season 1, so the kids are a bit younger here. This is when everybody lived at heighten-view terrace. It starts with Hikari watching the computer screen late at night because, "It's doing something weird." A digi-egg comes out of the computer. The next morning, it hatches into Koromon's lower level, Botamon. It then digivolves into Koromon. That night, Hikari wakes Taichi up because Koromon is shivering, sweating, & has big white hollow eyes. That's because its getting ready to digivolve to Agumon. This Agumon doesn't seem the same as the one Taichi later becomes partners with. When it digivolved, it seemed like it was 8 feet tall. Hikari gets on its back and Agumon breaks through the window in their room almost effortlessly. It leaps from their 10th floor apt. window, and lands on their mom's car. Taichi rushes out of the room and outside, and looks for Hikari and Agumon. Then a giant digi-egg appears in the sky. Parrotmon hatches from it. Agumon hurls Baby Flames the size of Hikari at Parrotmon. They all miss, and hit a building. Taichi sees Parrotmon land on a highway bridge, & then a Baby Flame headed for Parrotmon, he looks over his shoulder at where they came from, & sees Hikari with Agumon. He yells to her & runs over to them. All of the digi-destined (except they aren't digi-destined yet) are watching the battle from their apartments. As Taichi reaches Hikari and Agumon, Agumon sends a couple more Baby Flames at Parrotmon. They hit Parrotmon directly, but when the smoke clears Parrotmon is unharmed.

Parrotmon: Now it's my turn! Sonic Destroyer!

The attack hits Agumon & smashes into bridge above him also. When the smoke clears, Greymon is squatting over Hikari & Taichi, protecting them from the crumbling bridge. Agumon has digivolved to Greymon! Greymon aims a great big Mega Flame at Parrotmon. It hits him. They are now locked in hand to hand combat. Parrotmon gets the upper edge, throws Greymon over on his side, and then uses a Sonic Destroyer on him. Greymon is no longer conscious. Parrotmon starts walking over to finish him off. Hikari & Taichi yell desperately at Greymon to get up. He can't hear them. Hikari pulls out the whistle around her neck. She tries feebly to whistle loud. Taichi has a flash of genius, and takes the whistle from Hikari. He takes a long breath & blows hard into the whistle. Greymon's eyes flash wide open. Greymon then decides to use all of his energy in one, final Mega Flame. It engulfs Parrotmon. Parrotmon is deleted on the spot. But because Greymon used up all of his energy, he too is deleted. In the morning, the the surrounding apartments are almost completely in ruble. Authorities decide that it was the work of a terrorist bombing.

Digimon Adventure Original Series (1999):

Episode 1: «And so it begins...»

In the first episode, which is also known as «Adrift? Island of Adventure!» in the original Japanese, seven kids at summer camp are mysteriously transported to another reality, where they are befriended by a group of strange creatures who call themselves "Digimon," digital monsters. The seven companion Digimon prove to be more than good company when they transform into larger digital monsters and fight as a team to defend the kids from the Digimon Kuwagamon.

Episode 2: «The Birth of Greymon»

The second episode is known as «Explosive Evolution! Greymon» in the Japanese version. While running to escape from the evil Kuwagamon, the kids are knocked off a cliff. As they plunge to a river far below, Gomamon has the fish in the river break their fall, saving everyone. On a beach near the river, the kids discover a series of phone booths, but the phones inside just spout gibberish. While they're investigating, they're attacked by Shellmon, an evil Digimon. To save Taichi, Agumon digivolves to Greymon and defeats Shellmon. The kids and their Digimon friends decide to search for whoever built the phone booths.

Episode 3: «Garurumon»

In the third episode, known as «The Blue Wolf! Garurumon» in Japanese, the kids and their Digimon counterparts run into an angry Monochromon, who is fighting with a look-alike trying to take over his territory. The kids get away and discover a deserted bus by a lake, where they camp for the night. But the bus is parked on top of a giant Digimon called Seadramon. The kids fall into the water and the Digimon try to fend off the monster. Gabumon digivolves to Garurumon and defeats Seadramon.

Episode 4: «Biyomon Gets Firepower»

In this episode, also known as «Red Hot! Birdramon», the kids follow telephone lines to the village of Pyocomon at the foot of Mt. Miharashi, a volcano guarded by the flaming Meramon. When Meramon is hit by a flying Black Gear, he becomes violent and attacks the village. The Digimon try to stop him, but their powers are useless against his fireballs. Biyomon, realizing that Sora is in danger, digivolves to the firebird Birdramon and drives the Black Gear out of Meramon, bringing him under control.

Episode 5: «Kabuterimon's Electro Shocker»

In this episode, known as «Lightning! Kabuterimon» in Japanese, the kids come upon an odd factory that manufactures useless machinery but also produces power. They find Andromon trapped in the factory, and he attacks them when they free him. Agumon and Gabumon evolve into Greymon and Garurumon to fight Andromon, but they're defeated. Tentomon digivolves to Kabuterimon and attacks Andromon's wounded leg, dislodging a Black Gear. Restored to his normal, good self, Andromon directs the kids to a tunnel that leads out of the factory.

Episode 6: «Togemon in Toy Town»

The sixth episode is known as «Palmon, Raging Evolution!» in the Japanese version. Following an underground passage, the kids are attacked by a group of sewer-dwelling Numemon. They escape, only to end up in Toy Town, where they are captured by a giant Teddy Bear Digimon, Monzaemon. The Numemon, one of whom has a crush on Mimi, come to their rescue, and when Palmon digivolves to the giant cactus form of Togemon, they defeat Monzaemon, who had been controlled by one of the evil Black Gears.

Episode 7: «Ikkakumon's Harpoon Torpedo»

Known as «Roar! Ikkakumon» in the Japanese version, in this episode the kids are trying to decide whether they should climb a mountain to get a view of the island, but while they argue, Joe decides to climb it by himself. He is followed by Gomamon, and they're attacked by Unimon, who is controlled by a Black Gear. Sora, Taichi and Birdramon show up to help them, but when Birdramon is knocked out, Gomamon digivolves to Ikkakumon and destroys the Black Gear. Unimon flies off, and the kids climb to the top of the mountain and see that there are no other islands in sight.

Film 2: «Digimon Adventure: Our War Game»

This movie is set 4 years later than the first. It's Summer there. It starts with Koushiro finding a computer virus on the internet. He tries to see what it's attacking. Koushiro isn't the only one, the whole world is tracking the virus. An image appears. It's a digi-egg. The virus has infected the egg. It causes the egg to develop abnormally fast. The digi-egg hatches. A digi-baby peeks out and sends an email. It says, "Hello."

Now we see Taichi writing an email at his house.

Koushiro comes to the door & tells him about the digi-egg. They network Koushiro's laptop with Taichi's dad's computer. When they get online, they see that the Digimon has digivolved again. He's now at the child level.

"My name's Keramon!"

Keramon starts eating computer data. Taichi & Koushiro receive a transmission from the digital world. It's Gennai & he's with all of the digi-destined's Digimon. Gennai starts uploading Agumon & Tentomon onto the net. Taichi goes to call the other digi-destined so that they can help too. Joe is taking a Summer school test (voluntarily) and is not home. Yamato & Takeru are away, visiting their grandmother in the country. Taichi writes down the phone number he can reach them at. He calls the Takeru and Yamato grandmother's house. Their grandmother is appearantly hard of hearing so they fail to communicate.

Mimi is not home either, so Taichi leaves a message. He calls Hikari's cell phone, but she doesn't want to come home. He has Koushiro call Sora for him. Sora's mom picks up.

She tells them that Sora just came home, but Sora doesn't want to speak to Taichi, so her mom ends up telling them that they dialed a wrong number.

Taichi & Koushiro run back to the computers. They think Agumon & Tentomon should be online by now. Agumon & Tentomon spot Keramon eating computer data. Tentomon attacks with a Petit Thunder. It fries Keramon, but Keramon isn't hurt. Agumon fires 3 Baby Flames at Keramon. They hit him, but don't hurt him. Keramon sends Taichi & Koushiro an email that says:

"So you like to play games, huh?"

Agumon & Tentomon digivolve. People all over the world are watching the battle on their computers. Keramon fires 2 Crazy Giggles at Greymon & Kabuterimon. They miss. Mega Blaster! Kabuterimon's attack misses Keramon. Greymon hits Keramon with a Mega Flame. Keramon warp-digivolves. Greymon & Kabuterimon repeatedly nail him with their attacks, but it's not hurting him. He fires 4 Spider Shooters at Greymon & Kabuterimon. His attack hits both of them.

Since Keramon warp-digivolved to a perfect-level Digimon, Greymon & Kabuterimon are no longer strong enough to fight him. They attempt to digivolve, but he attacks them again before they can finish the process. Then he uses an exit command and leaves.

Keramon is attacking the phone company. He's now calling all of the phone numbers in the world. Koushiro loses his connection and leaves. All of the phones are out. The phone company sets up an emergency voice mail system. Taichi leaves messages for Hikari, Yamato & Takeru, Sora, and Mimi. His mom hears him leaving a message for Mimi, which reminds her about a postcard that came in the mail. She gives it to Taichi. It's a postcard from Mimi, she's in Hawaii. Koushiro comes back. He was out getting a satellite uplink, he can use it to get online. Taichi checks his messages. Yamato & Takeru responded to the message he left them. They fill in Yamato & Takeru, & tell them to get to a computer. They have to go into town to find a computer, as their grandmother doesn't have one. Taichi & Koushiro are back online now, thanks to the satellite uplink. They receive a transmission from Yamato & Takeru. They've found a computer in a barber shop. Gennai uploads Gabumon & Patamon onto the net. Gabumon, Patamon, Tentomon & Agumon are all online now.

Gabumon & Agumon warp-digivolve to MetalGarurumon & WarGreymon. When Patamon attempts to digivolve as well, but in the meantime, Keramon digivolves to his mega form and attacks Patamon. Cable Crusher! Patamon is hurt. Tentomon is hit. WarGreymon & MetalGarurumon are wearing him down.

Koushiro goes into the bathroom. When Taichi looks at the computer, he sees that WarGreymon & MetalGarurumon are starting to slow down. Taichi grabs the computer screen. The jolt causes the computer to mess up, & an error screen is displayed. *gasp* Koushiro comes back into the room.

He reboots the computer. After a second, they are back online. WarGreymon & MetalGarurumon are lying motionless on the net.

A timer appears on the computer screen. The virus is making copies of itself. Koushiro gets another email.

"One of the missiles is headed for Colorado! They're going to land, in less than ten minutes!"

There are now over 75,000 copies of the virus and counting. Koushiro decides that if they can beat the original one, the rest will disappear.

There are now over one million copies. WarGreymon & MetalGarurumon get back online. They are bombarded by web-wreckers from every direction. They are unconscious now. Taichi is in complete shock. He's reaching towards the computer screen.

Taichi goes through the computer screen & to WarGreymon. Yamato does the same thing. They try to wake their digimon up, but can't. Taichi makes a speech about the emails.

Finally, WarGreymon & MetalGarurumon then DNA-digivolve to Omegamon. All of the viruses attack at once. Grey Sword! Omegamon deflects all of their attacks with a stroke of his sword. The deflected web-wreckers slam into the virus mass. Garuru Cannon! Omegamon wipes out all of them, but one. The 10 minutes is seconds away from being up. Over time Omegamon turns around to attack the original, he jumps someplace else. Koushiro figures out that if he can forward all of the emails to it, it would slow him down just like it slowed down WarGreymon & MetalGarurumon.

"You've got mail!"

The Keramon virus slows down. Omegamon deletes it. Because he was just defeated, the nuclear missiles are deactivated.

Digimon Adventure Reboot (2020):

Episode 1: «Tokyo Digital Crisis»

It's the year 2020. The Network has become something humans can no longer do without in their daily lives. But what humans don't know is that on the other side of the Network is the Digital World, a realm of light and darkness. Nor are they aware of the Digimon who live there.

Widespread Network difficulties arise, centered around the Tokyo area. Traffic signals blink chaotically, public outdoor TVs display garbled text, and so on. The news reports it as a case of cyberterrorism.

Fifth grader Taichi Yagami stayed home by himself to get ready for a weekend summer camp, but his mother and little sister Hikari went to Shibuya, and now they're aboard a runaway train. Taichi hurries to Shibuya to save his mother and sister, but the instant he heads toward the station platform... a strange phenomenon befalls the DigiDestined, and Taichi goes to the Digital World! The DigiDestined meet their partner Digimon, and they're faced with an adventure into the unknown...!

Episode 2: «War Game»

Elementary school student Taichi Yagami, along with a strange Digimon creature who calls himself Agumon, take down a Digimon causing cyber terrorism throughout Tokyo. However, the Digimon's attack wasn't over. This time, it was attacking the USA military's tactical network. During that, Taichi and Greymon (Agumon's evolved form) meet a boy named Yamato Ishida and his Digimon partner Garurumon (Gabumon's evolved form) inside the digital area. Taichi calls for Yamato and Garurumon to form a team with them and fight the threat.

Episode 3: «And to the Digital World»

The USA military's tactical network is invaded by a Digimon and the military system goes haywire. Taichi and his team fight desperately to stop the missiles, but the more they take down the enemy Digimon, the more it evolves. Then missiles are launched at Tokyo. The enemy Digimon shoots out balls of light that directly hit Greymon and Garurumon, when a giant white Digimon appears...?!

Episode 4: «Birdramon Soars»

Blackouts occur throughout the city. Taichi and Koushiro Izumi, who knows a lot about the internet, worry that something has happened in the Digital World where Agumon and the others are. Koushiro estimates that if the blackout continues for more than 72 hours, it will paralyze all of Tokyo's municipal functions. "We're the only ones who can do something about this!" so the kids head once more to the Digital World. But the world they came upon looked vastly different from how they'd seen it before. Also, Taichi thought that he had reached the Digital World with Koushiro, but who came with him instead was Taichi's childhood friend, Sora Takenouchi.

Episode 5: «The Celestial Digimon»

Coming soon...
To be continued...

Digimon Adventure tri.

Chapter 1: «Reunion»

It's been six years since that summer adventure when Taichi Yagami and the rest of the DigiDestined crossed over to the Digital World. And nearly three years have passed since the final battle between Hikari Yagami's group and MaloMyotismon. As the peaceful days passed by, at some point the gate to the Digital World closed. Not even the DigiDestined know what caused this, and time alone continues to pass.

On one such day, a Kuwagamon suddenly appears in Odaiba. Its rampage leaves the town in ruins, and the people there in turmoil. Taichi happens to catch sight of the Kuwagamon, and he chases after it all by himself in an effort to halt its rampage. But there's nothing he can do against a Kuwagamon.

"It's no use... I can't do anything about this alone..."

Just as the Kuwagamon roars and attacks Taichi, his Digivice begins to emit a bright light...

"Taichi, look how big you've grown!"

With the sound of that nostalgic voice, the story once again begins to move in a big way.

Taichi Yagami, age 17; high school student.

The adventure now evolves once again...

Chapter 2: «Determination»

Time has passed since Alphamon appeared, and restoration work has moved ahead little by little in the town of Odaiba.

"I had decided once I got back to Japan, I'd be sure to take a dip in a big bath!" shouts Mimi. Because of that and a desire to make their new members Meiko Mochizuki and Meicoomon feel welcome, the DigiDestined go to a nearby hot springs theme park. Everyone has a good time, but Joe doesn't show up.

Joe feels caught between the imminent reality of college entrance exams, and his responsibilities as a DigiDestined.

"Why do we have to do this again?"

Just then, another infected Digimon appears in Odaiba. It's that proud virus type, Ogremon... As a TV station helicopter relays a broadcast of his rampage, Mimi and Palmon spring into action.

"We'll show people that there are good Digimon, too!"

Mimi and Palmon ignore Koushiro's attempts to hold them back, however, and their battle brings about unforeseen consequences...

Joe and Mimi each have their own troubles. Then on the day of Tsukishima General High School's festival, that man appears before them...

Chapter 3: «Confession»

Taichi and friends can't hide how disturbing it was that something suddenly went wrong with Meicoomon, causing her to destroy Leomon and disappear beyond the distortion.

"If Meicoomon was infected, I want to find out what caused it. Were there any signs it had happened? And when in the world did it occur?" Faced with a situation beyond imagination, Koushiro struggles to come up with some countermeasure.

But with no effective means at his disposal, he ends up grilling Meiko for information. "Please remember. I need information if I'm going to find out what's behind the infection." Meiko hangs her head, unable to offer any answer...

Agumon and the others had been quarantined in Koushiro's office to protect against infection, but Patamon starts showing signs of it anyway... At the same time, Agumon and the others are informed via the voice dwelling within Hikari about an important secret concerning the Digital World.

"The time... draws near..."

Then during the battle against Meicoomon when she shows up again, said "time" arrives. Taichi and friends agonize over the revealed secret. As the feelings of each of them intertwine, they arrive at a certain determination...

"If we wait around for 'someday', before you know it we'll find ourselves having grown up."

Chapter 4: «Loss»

First there was Meicoomon's rampage, and then the reboot ended up happening. Taichi and friends left Meiko behind in her anguish, and headed for the Digital World.

They reunite with their partner Digimon, who have lost all their memories up to this point. Even so, the DigiDestined decide to reach out and rebuild those bonds, and their Digimon respond in kind. The sole exception is Piyomon, who is openly wary even after digivolving to her Child stage...

"I told you, I don't know anything about 'the past'!"

Sora's kindness in putting others before herself only makes Piyomon that much more suspicious. This leaves Sora stunned and hurt, and Taichi and Yamato are at a loss for what to say to her.

As everyone discusses what they should do from here in the Digital World, Meicoomon suddenly appears and then vanishes. For some reason she still has her memories, as she wanders around with tears in her eyes, looking for Meiko. Seeing this strengthens the kids' resolve to travel through the Digital World in order to save Meicoomon. But then before their eyes appears that man who had been with the Dark Masters.

Meanwhile in the real world, Nishijima receives word that Himekawa has gone missing. As he investigates, he determines that there's been some hidden agenda behind her behavior up to this point. It has something to do with an event in the past that determined both their destinies...

Chapter 5: «Coexistence»

Homeostasis, which is trying to maintain the world's harmony, has now personally declared Meicoomon a danger for becoming too powerful, and is attempting to get rid of her. The DigiDestined are cast out of the Digital World, finding themselves alone and unaided, they all desperately search for a way to fix the situation. Meanwhile, a cruel fate is imminent for Hikari, who has a more honest and sensitive spirit than anyone...

Chapter 6: «Future»

Known as «Our Future» in Japan.

The rampaging Meicoomon absorbs Tailmon and changes into a dark Mega form. The real world is about to be engulfed by the Digital World. Meanwhile, Homeostasis moves to its final plan that will entangle the real world. The DigiDestined and their partner Digimon continue their desperate battle to somehow prevent the destruction. The time comes for the DigiDestined to arrive at a final decision. What future do they choose for themselves?

Film 3: «Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna»

It's 2010, over ten years since the summer when Taichi met Agumon and the others, and they had their adventure in the Digital World. The worldwide existence of the DigiDestined has gradually been acknowledged, and the sight of Digimon in the real world has become less unusual. Taichi has become a college student, while Yamato and the others have figured out and started down their own paths in life.

During all this, certain incidents begin to occur around DigiDestined worldwide. Menoa and Imura are scholars whose area of study is the Digimon who appeared to Taichi and the others. These two seek assistance from the group, claiming a Digimon called Eosmon is the cause of the incidents. Taichi and the DigiDestined come together once again so they can resolve the matter. But during the battle with Eosmon, something goes wrong with Agumon's and the others' evolutions. When Menoa sees this, she informs Taichi's group of a shocking truth: When a DigiDestined becomes an adult, his or her partner Digimon will cease to exist...

The threat posed by Eosmon gradually spreads to affect Taichi's friends as well. He can't save his friends if he won't fight, but fighting will mean he has to say goodbye to his partner that much sooner. He thought they would always be together. Will he fight, even if it means losing the one most dear to him? That's what it means for a DigiDestined to become an adult. In the face of unalterable destiny, what answer will the bond between Taichi and Agumon produce for just the two of them?
