Welcome to the dark ages!

Ismail's Website!
Eww, what an ugly web page!
Look how ugly this web page is. This web page represents everything wrong with the internet today.
Welcome to the 2020s!
Every single website looks the same. Disgusting! This era represents the death of creativity. Everything is proprietary and owned by big companies which have monopoly over the entire industry. There is no more personality in web. People have moved towards using the bland Social Networks, which are no longer customisable as they were 10-20 years prior.
The characteristics of this era's web design include:
- minimalism
- uniformity
- corporate sterility
- symmetry
- extensive usage and promotion of AI
- crypto-currencies
- Ads
I can also notice that the websites are no longer limited to defined containers, but take up the entire width of the page instead.
This style is referred to as the Flat Design. Also WEB 3.0.

"The 2020s web is a polished paradox — an era of calculated calm where interfaces whisper rather than scream. Designers wield clinical minimalism like a scalpel, stripping away ornament until only hyper-functional bones remain: brutalist grids softened by just enough rounded corners, monochrome palettes punctuated by a single hallucinogenic accent color, and typography so stark it borders on militant. This is the internet as corporate zen garden — every interaction frictionless, every scroll-snap precise, every button a study in restrained anticipation. Yet beneath the sterile surface thrums invisible complexity: AI-curated feeds, WebGL labyrinths masked as "loaders," and dark mode so pervasive it feels like the screens themselves are nocturnal. The dream is no longer what tech can do, but how little it can disturb you while doing it — a world where even the chaos of crypto dashboards gets vacuum-sealed into calming sans-serif flowcharts."
