Daisuke Motomiya, or, as known in the dub, Davis Motomiya, is the main protagonist of the 2nd Digimon season.
He is this season's "goggle boy".
Daisuke is the kind of person to jump into things without thinking, or consulting his fellow digi-destined.
He shares a special bond with Ken, that enables their two digimon to DNA Digivolve.
His partner Digimon is Veemon, and he has the Digimentals of Courage, Friendship and Miracles.

He was always one of the digi-destined, but didn't know that it was all real.
So he saw it as a computer game to be dominated.

Miyako Inoue, also known as, Yolei Inoue, in the dub, is a passionate, dynamic person.
She is stubborn, cheeky and impulsive who will rarely back down on an opinion.
She is very sincere and true to her feelings, to the point where she is often unaware of others or how her feelings are affecting them.
However, she is by nature a compassionate and generous person..
Her partner Digimon is Hawkmon, and she has the Digimentals of Love and Purity (known as Sincerity in the dub).

Iori Hida, known as Cody Hida in the dub.
He plays kendo, and likes spending time with his grandpa.
His dad was a policeman, and was killed some time ago. He is the quiet one.

He has the Digimentals of Knowledge and Sincerity (which is also known as the Digimental of Reliability, Honesty, or Faith).

He is a character from the previous season, but he's grown now.
He's no longer the baby of the team, although he has some issues with Patamon getting deleted, because Patamon was deleted during battle in season one.
His partner Digimon is Patamon, and he has the Digimental of Hope.

Hikari Yagami is known as Kari Kamiya in the dub.
She is also, like Takeru, a grown character from the previous season.
Hikari has a refreshing personality.
She's nice, listens to common sense, and is always thinking about everyone when things get rough.
Her partner Digimon is Tailmon (also known as Gatomon in the dub).
She has the Digimental of Light.
